Rabbit Funland

Remember my previous blog? The one that I told you guys about my adventure at Broga Hill? Well, apparently I went there again the next day after the hiking. NO. Not to hike again. (Not after having trouble waking up; and not to mention the body ache!)

There's a place call the Rabbit Funland which I saw before the entrance to Broga Hill. There's actually few signs and banners along the way; and the word "The largest rabbit farm in the world Malaysia" caught my attention. It sounded promising so my bf and I decided to give it a go. What was there to lose?

At the entrance

The ticket costs RM5 per person which was quite reasonable as I caught a glimpse of my favourite animal...THE SHEEP & GOATS!!! Oh, by the way, the friendly guy at the counter even gave us a bag of fruits (fresh green apples and carrots) that costs us RM10 each to feed the animals and told us to have fun and explore everything that is there. *such a thoughtful old man he is*

I started with *what else*, the goats. They were all very tame and were so excited to see me *perasan*. I know, not many of you love goats or sheep but I find them very adorable. There was a hanging bridge which I'm not really sure the purpose of it being there. Maybe just for kids to play with it. It's not even 1 meter high!

I then realized that there's not only rabbit but few more animal that we could play and pat with. Check out the pics below!

The only mama sheep around. A tough life she has.

And the winner for the most "stretchable" neck goes to the brown goat! *clap clap*

Okay everyone...look at the camera and say "Mmmbeeekkk"

Anand making sure each and everyone was fed equally.

This was the "not so high" hanging bridge I was telling you guys about.

Well, they wouldn't call it "the Rabbit Funland" without those cute, fluffy lil fellas right? And yes....they were EVERYWHERE hopping about trying to get away from us.

 Awww.....

 Posing cute for the camera.

Anand didn't realize that the rabbit was actually munching on an apple. Its cheek was too chubby to see what's underneath.

Rabbit hole. Reminds me of Bugs Bunny.

A very tame rabbit.

We didn't realize that it was their closing time, but they were kind enough to let us stay and play around with their animals. Yay!

There are ponies that we can ride on.

This cute little monkey just held my hand after I handed him an apple. (an Apple for the monkey)

Anand was brave enough to feed the calves. I was quite timid as they used their long tongue to grab the food.

 The dairy cow.

I'm terrified of these geese. They could chase us! Thank God they did not.

The obsess mountain goat; which I then realized that she is actually pregnant. How silly of me.

The Deer. Or is is a Doe? I'm confused.

This picture is epic. I'm trying to imitate the buffalo's look.

What I like about the place? I'm happy to see all the animals are healthy and clean *unlike other petting farm or even worse the Zoo*. They were all properly fed and seemed happy.

The down part of the place?Hmm....how can they be MEAN to sell rabbit meat at a place like this? Putting banners around saying Rabbit burger and all...Ughh...Sickening!

Broga Hill & Sg.Tekala

While everyone snuggled in their bed at 3am, I was crying struggling to wake up. What somehow motivated me to get up was the "need for exercise due to the bloated tummy". We left and reached at the bottom of the famous Broga Hill which located at Semenyih around 5am. I managed to take a quick nap during the journey.Hehe.

The beginning part was, well, not so bad; minus the walking traffic as there's a bunch of school kids from Wesley's Methodist High School whom joined us as well. It was still very dark and luckily for us; Ezwan Adam brought an extra flashlight.

The hike got tougher as we reached steeper path and it got narrower as well. *Thank God it did not rain earlier or else it'll be slippery as well*  When we reached the top, the view was awesome and breathtaking. We could see the lights from the city below as if we were in some other place.

Breakfast was simple. Adam prepared bread and some spaghetti sauce to eat. Anand brought mamee (very healthy) and some chocolate bars and Ezwan brought some biscuits. I was in no mood to eat as I felt nausea and gagged a little. Probably coz it had been some time since I hiked and my body was adjusting to it.

 Broga Hill at 6.15 am

We didn't climb up there as we were quite exhausted

Awesome view isn't it?

We're here!

After cam-whoring and regained enough energy, it was time to hike down and getting down was another challenged. What was I thinking?? If I climbed a steep hill, I need to get down from it as well!! and it was actually even scarier as it was bright and I could see the steep hill waaaaaaaaaay down. OMG! *cold sweat* *shivers*
I was deciding if I should go down or just live up here on the hill.
 Daym it's steep!

 Check out the background...horror!

Finally *notice the steep hill and the sweat on my forehead?*

After all that hiking and sweating, we decided to give ourselves a reward. What is better than a dip in a cool refreshing waterfalls before heading back home....Sungai Tekala that is! weeeeeee...!

These two hush puppies decided to have a hike as well...cute!
As long as you don't leave your "waste" up there. *winkwink*

 Brrrrrrrr.....super cold!

My dear bf was contemplating if he should jump into the water or just stand on the branch

 Look at meeeeeee.......geronimoo!!

CNY 2012

Hi everyone...! I'm actually new to this blogging stuff. I was sitting around with nothing to do and suddenly it strikes  hits me.."why not writing a blog? since i love changing my statuses in fb (that's facebook if u guys out there wondering). So here it is! TADAAAA!
Ok, now I'm currently working with a company that entitled me to have a week holiday (YES!) for festive seasons such as Raya, Christmas and CNY (...and yet i'm not thankful for it...tsk tsk tsk)

I usually have plans up my mind but this time I don't really know what to do (actually I have no "kaki" and money is another thing). So I hanged out at home. However, I did manage to do some fun stuff with my family. We went for karaoke at REPLAY, Scott Garden.

My nephew, Iman, modelling in-front of the Replay Karaoke's logo

From Left Back: Izzat (cousin), Abang Ngah (Bro in-law), Iman (nephew),Angah (Sister)
Front Left: Me, Aunty Saba (aunt) and Hana (Niece)

So, yeah, the place is AWESOME!!Way better than Red Box or Neway or Song Box . Why better?
  1. Sound Proof room. U can't hear a thing when ur outside of the room. Pure silence.
  2. Touch Screen Monitor. No more remote baybeh.
  3. Updated Songs. Very important!
  4. Japanese Food. It's affordable and delicious. Where else could u find a karaoke place serving Japanese food?
  5. Free Flow Drinks. With multiple choices. Hot? Cold? U name it.
So yeah, u people who love singing or just wanna release your inner self, and flaunt your talent would love it here!

The next day, my family and I went to my brother's house located in Puchong. We went there for one reason. TO SWIM! yeehaa!

Only four of us went for a swim. My sis & Mom sat a side and observed.

Me and my mischievous nephew

I guess my holiday was not that interesting but it's not that boring either. :)
